The 1.0ml-5.0ml 1D-coded Cryo Tubes, External Thread are leak-proof cryogenic vials ideal for cell culture and biobanking. The screw cap features a co-molded thermally-fused gasket to prevent leaking, slipping and contamination risk.

95kPa certified gasket for a leak-proof seal
Compatible with auto-decapping equipment
Recommended for use in vapor phase LN2

The leak-proof, auto-cap cryogenic vials are ideal for cell culture and biobanking. The screw cap features a co-molded thermally-fused gasket which prevents leaking, slipping and risk of contamination. The gasket is 95kPa certified to provide a leak-proof seal, and the star socket on cap top is compatible with auto-decapping equipment. Each vial is individually barcoded with a unique identifier that can be read with common barcode readers. Not recommended for storage directly in liquid nitrogen, but fit for use in vapor phase LN2.
