Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is a common buffer additive which can help minimize analyte adsorption to the fluidics tubing as well as reduce non-specific binding to the sensor surface.
It is typically added at concentrations from 0.05%-1% into the running buffer. It can also be used to as a blocking injection to help block non-specific sites on the sensor or as a test protein to evaluate non-specific binding levels.
This BSA is sulfhydryl blocked and is provided in quantities of 2 g as a powder.
