Description

The Prime Pro 48 real time PCR system is a high specification, economical real time thermal cycler that accommodates a unique 48-well polypropylene PCR plate utilising the same geometry as standard 384-well plates, but only ¹/₈ of the size.

Suitable for both single labs and core facilities, the thermal cycler's fast cycling enables several experiments per day. A specially designed thermal block delivers a unique heating and cooling system that provides accurate ±0.1 °C temperature control and quickly cycles from one temperature to the next.

An advanced high-performance optical system delivers precise and sensitive fluorescence detection, facilitating all four color multiplex applications. The qPRC unit is MIQE compliant, features an adaptive LED control and high-resolution melt (HRM) functionality. Easy-to-use software provides instrument control, data collection, and data analysis. An ergonomic plate loading dock allows for quick loading of the plate and is backlit for clear visibility.

The Prime Pro 48 also accepts all popular brands of reagents. Always reads all 48 wells, with all 4 filters at every cycle, and automatically normalizes fluorescence - never saturate the detector. Eliminate cross talk.

The ProDock (included) makes cell loading easier. The ergonomic platform fits into standard centrifuge rotors and is backlit for sample visualization, also works well with 16-channel pipettes.
