Enhanced Performance for Sample Preparation
Description
The JetSpin® Centrifugal Filters have been upgraded to provide superior performance in sample preparation. Featuring premium polyethersulfone (PES) filter membranes, these filters offer low protein adsorption, rapid filtration speed, and high recovery rates.
Their innovative single/double-sided vertical filter structure and support rib design contribute to a larger effective filtration area and reduced dead volume. This design also enhances structural stability, allowing for higher centrifugal force compatibility while minimizing process losses.
- Expanded Filtration Area: The single (0.5 mL) and double-sided (5 mL, 15 mL) vertical filter structures offer an effective filtration area of up to 9.7 cm².
- Enhanced Stability: Both 15 mL and 50 mL centrifuge tubes incorporate support ribs that are tightly integrated with the membranes. This prevents membrane clogging or rupture, even under excessive centrifugal force.
- Rapid Concentration: Achieve concentration factors exceeding 100-fold, with samples concentrated rapidly in 5–25 minutes.
- Minimized Sample Loss: A minimal void volume significantly reduces sample loss during centrifugation.
- High Protein Recovery: Experience over 85% protein recovery with excellent repeatability.
- Clear Markings: Precise black graduations on the tube body, clear MWCO indicators, and a dedicated writing area facilitate easy marking and identification.
- Contaminant-Free Design: Membranes are secured into the filter shell using heat-pressing processes, eliminating chemical leaching from adhesives that could contaminate samples and impact analysis results.
