JET BIOFIL 50 mm Positive Pressure Sterilizing Filters

JET BIOFIL's 50 mm positive pressure sterilizing filters are designed for the sterile filtration of aqueous solutions in biological laboratories. These filters are compatible with peristaltic pumps, syringes, or other positive pressure devices. They effectively remove microorganisms, particles, precipitates, and undissolved powders larger than $0.22\text{ µm}$ from aqueous solutions.

Crafted with a $0.22\text{ µm}$ hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, these filters offer excellent filtration performance and reliable sterilization, capable of filtering samples up to $8\text{ L}$ in volume. The stepped hose barb design ensures a secure and stable connection between the filter and the hose, preventing splashes and contamination during operation.

Special Tips:

Our test results indicate that these $50\text{ mm}$ sterilizing filters are suitable for most common aqueous solutions, including $5\%$ acetic acid, aqueous buffers, cell media, $5\%$ Clorox® bleaching agent solution, $10\%$ sodium hydroxide, and $20\%$ sulfuric acid. For reagents not listed, we recommend testing for applicability before use to ensure optimal performance.
