E-BOX CX5 Edge is a Stand-alone Imaging System for Gel Documentation offering high sensitivity and speed.
Description
The E-BOX CX5 Edge offers the best sensitivity and speed, and reaches the lowest limits of detection for your DNA, RNA and protein applications.
With a large 12.6" touch screen display, the E-Box has unrivalled ease of use, thanks to its built-in computer controlled camera, lens and lighting. It has a 5 megapixels resolution, CX5 scientific grade camera which has been specifically designed for quantitative scientific imaging and signal measurement.
With just one click, the system will automatically capture the best possible image. Select your application, click on Start and automatically the system will turn on the transilluminator, adjust the lens, auto-expose and switch off the UV. The image acquisition process is quick and instinctive.

Intuitive Software
The E-Box build-in software has rich features and guides you into the advanced functions in a very ergonomically designed user interface. The simple and self-understandable menu is ideal in a multi-user environment.
Designed by molecular biologists the software is very easy to use: just one click is necessary to get the optimum gel image.
The E-Box CX5 includes a revolutionary Apps Studio approach to imaging. The Apps Studio is an innovative library of applications which contains more than 40 different protocols for your gel, colony dish, microplate and other fluorescent or colorimetric samples.

Super-Bright UV-Pad Edge 26LMX V1 312/365nm
Vilber provides first-class UV transilluminators for documentation and preparation in different dimensions and configurations. The innovative Super-Bright filter stops all the visible light emitted by the tubes. As the UV tubes are no more visible, the Super-Bright improves dramatically the quality of gel visualization and documentation.
