Description
The Biosan UVT-S-AR is a benchtop UV-cleaner workstation engineered to create a clean, contamination-free environment for PCR setup and other nucleic acid workflows.
This model utilizes a dual UV decontamination system:
- An open 254 nm UV-C lamp disinfects surfaces and air, inactivating DNA/RNA contaminants, viruses, and bacteria in 15–30 minutes.
- A patented UV air recirculator continuously irradiates internal air, processing the cabinet's volume approximately 100 times per hour. This guarantees clean working conditions without exposing users to UV light.
The workstation also features a touchscreen digital control panel for easy programming of UV exposure cycles and real-time lamp monitoring. An energy-efficient 12W LED daylight lamp provides bright illumination, reducing energy consumption by about 50% compared to traditional fluorescent lighting. Transparent glass side panels enhance user comfort by improving visibility inside the cabinet.
