Description
The Biosan UVC/T-AR is a benchtop UV-cleaner workstation designed to create a clean, contamination-free environment for PCR setup and other nucleic acid workflows.
This model features a dual UV decontamination system:
- An open 254 nm UV-C lamp disinfects surfaces and air, inactivating DNA/RNA contaminants, viruses, and bacteria within 15–30 minutes.
- A patented UV air recirculator continuously irradiates internal air, processing the entire cabinet volume approximately 100 times per hour. This ensures clean working conditions without exposing users to UV light.
The workstation also includes a touchscreen digital control panel for intuitive programming of UV exposure cycles and real-time monitoring of lamp life. An energy-efficient 8W LED daylight lamp provides bright workspace illumination while reducing energy consumption by around 50% compared to traditional fluorescent lighting. Transparent panels improve visibility inside the cabinet, enhancing user comfort.
